Mrs. Mary Sheila Evans Hewett, 60, passed away on May 30, 2023. 

Mrs. Hewett was born on Nov. 27, 1962, in LaGrange to the late Robert Evans and Mary Dunlap Evans. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sibling, Robin Allen Evans.

Survivors include her son, Jeremy Hewett and his wife, Katie; brothers, Robert Jeff Evans, Jerry Evans and Tense Evans; sister, Linda Evans; grandchildren, Elizabeth Grace “Ellie” Hewett, Alysa Kali Hewett, Ariana Rose Hewett and Elijah Michael Hewett; extended family.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at 1 P.M. at the Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter Allen Myhand Chapel. 

Family will receive friends on Thursday at the funeral home beginning at Noon until service hour.
