Troup County Parks and Rec 7/8 year old all-star teams scrimmage to prepare for Dixie Youth tournament

The 7/8 year old Troup County Parks and Rec all-star teams are raring up for their chance at the big time. The Troup County 7/8 Nationals and Americans battled it out in a scrimmage at George Harris on Thursday.
The teams are just getting started playing together and working as teams as the spring baseball season just wrapped a couple of weeks ago and the majority of players were on separate teams.
Mason Daniel, Shep Ricks, Chipper Lewis, Gavin DeMarino, Korbin Stephens, Austin Smith, Bentley Norred, Brysen Williams, Eli Nolan, Joe Tanner, Gabriel Lee and Javaris Brown comprise the Americans who are led by head coach Cornelius Reeves.
The Nationals team consists of Brody Lowary, Jase McClain, Jt Lowary, Colt Bryant
Hugh Harris, Lucas Cain, Chase Favors, Peter Spivey, Knox Dominick, Maddux Richardson, Leland Webb and Mike Dunn. The head coach is John Lowary.
The two teams will compete in Barnesville from June 22-25 in the Dixie Youth Baseball Tournament.
