Mr. Charles Terrance Herring, (67), of LaGrange, passed away on June 19, 2023.  

Mr. Herring was born on Dec. 21, 1955, in Montgomery, Alabama to the late Charles Freeman Herring and Geraldine Barton Herring.  

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Alan Hartley and a sister, Jackie Coultier. 

 Charles was the owner of Charles Herring Landscaping, a local LaGrange business, for many years.  

Survivors include his wife of thirty-six years, Darlene Pope Herring; children, Chelsea Titus (Kyle), Zoe Watson (Desmond) and Ali Sheffield (Cody); brother, Arthur “Buddy” Herring; grandchildren, Greyson Titus and Isabella Watson; special nieces, nephews and their families, Heather Andrews, Jake Hartley, Holley Bunn, Matt Hartley, Steve Herring, Seth Herring, Jake Herring, Jeff Herring, other nieces, nephews and extended family. 

 Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 23, 2023, at 2 P.M. at the Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter Allen Myhand Chapel.  

Interment to follow at Shadowlawn Cemetery.  Family will receive friends on Thursday evening at the funeral home from 5-7 P.M.
