LaGrange Police are investigating another incident of teenage violence when an 18-year-old was shot after multiple suspects opened fire on a group.

Eric Colton, 18, was shot when unknown suspects fired indiscriminately into a group outside a home on Revis Street, according to LPD.

Officers responded to the incident in the 500 block of Revis St. late Tuesday night around 11:23 p.m., in reference to reports of a person shot.

Officers arrived to find Colton had been shot twice in his lower extremities. The victim was transported to an undisclosed hospital for medical treatment and is expected to recover.

The Criminal Investigation Section was called and began an investigation.

Police say the initial investigation has revealed that multiple unidentified suspects opened fire indiscriminately on Colton and three other victims. In the process, the suspects fired gunshots into an apartment occupied by a fifth victim.

This incident is still under investigation.
