Mr. Travinta Demartavious Carter, 29, of Lanett died Sunday, June 25, 2023, in Lanett.   Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 6, 2023, at O. H. Ministries, 4128 Veterans Memorial Pkwy, Lanett, at 2:00 p.m. (EST) with Pastor Latika C. Spencer officiating. Interment will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, 22nd St. SW Lanett.  The remains will lie in state at the church from 1:00 p.m. (EST) until the funeral hour.  Public viewing will be Wednesday, July 5, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (EST) at Vines Funeral Home Chapel.

Mr. Carter is survived by three sons: Travince E. Carter, Traiden D. Carter, and Trevor J. Carter all of Valley; two daughters: Tranelah N. Carter, Valley  and Tahari S. Carter of West Point, GA; mother: Andrea Ferrell (Tony), Lanett; father: Traviss Carter (Zaneta),  Lanett; grandmother: Jenell Ferrell, Lanett and grandfather: Larry Ferrell, LaGrange, GA; three sisters: LaQuasha Stokes (Corey) Killeen, Texas, Shaniece Carter and Traniceya Carter both of Atlanta, GA; two brothers: TraQuaviss Carter and Jatonio Carlisle both of Lanett and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
