Ms. Joyce Lavon Simpson passed away Sunday at Baptist Medical Center in Montgomery.

She was born Nov. 19, 1958, to Lawrence and Estella Simpson in LaGrange, Georgia.

She united with First Baptist Church on Fannin Street, graduated from LaGrange High School and LaGrange, College. 

She was previously employed by Live Oak, Walmart DC, and as a Private Bookkeeper.

Survivors include her children:  Christopher Tyrell Simpson, Sr., Lauren Krystal Pannell, Chaz Desmond Simpson all of LaGrange, Georgia; seven grandchildren; Life Partner, Arthur Town; siblings:  Lonnie M. Simpson, Bronx, NY; Diane Baker, LaGrange, Georgia; William Douglas (Janice) Simpson, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

The Service will be Friday at 11 A.M. in the Chapel of Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
