A drive-by shooting on Laurel Lane Tuesday morning resulted in one injury, as the LaGrange Police Department continues to search for the person or persons responsible.

Around 12:42 a.m., LPD officers responded to 208 Laurel Lane in reference to a person shot. Upon arrival, they located one victim with a gunshot wound to the ankle. The victim had been standing on the front porch when a black vehicle, identified as possibly a KIA, drove past and fired several gunshots in her direction.

Several of the gunshots also entered the residence, which was occupied by four others, including a juvenile.

The victim was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
