Mr. Jack Dallas III passed away Sunday.

He was born Jan. 15, 1980, to Jack Dallas, Jr. and Josephine Strickland Brewer Dallas.  

He joined Mt. Carrie Missionary Baptist Church, Franklin; and later united with First Baptist Church, Fannin Street, LaGrange, Georgia.

Jack attended Burwell Center along with his friend, Justin Merna from two years of age; and graduated from Callaway High School.

He worked at New Ventures and packaged batteries. He also worked at Kroger and bagged groceries in his early years. 

Survivors include his father, Jack (Lucile) Dallas, Jr.; and loving mother, Josephine Strickland Brewer Dallas; his brothers:  Derwin (Janice) Brewer and Pastor Fredrick (Bridgett) Stanley; sisters: Kristi Brewer, Kimula Powell, Marvena Dallas and Deidra Strickland; nieces: Ciera Brewer, Kiera (Chandler) Pittman, Markia Dallas; aunts:  Darlene Moore, Belle Glenn, Kathryn (Kelvin) Williams, Carolyn Singh and Mary (Eddie) Jones; uncles: Larry (Phyllis) Haynes and a very special uncle; Earnest (Peach) Strickland; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

The Service will be Wednesday at 2 P.M. at New Community Church.

The excellent care of Mr. Dallas is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
