The LaGrange Police Department is investigating an overnight shooting incident that left a man injured.

Early Wednesday morning, around 12:58 a.m., LaGrange Police were called to the 1400 block of Juniper Street in reference to reports of a person who had been shot.

Police say the subsequent investigation revealed that Leshun Brooks was injured at a separate undisclosed location by unknown person(s).

The victim was transported to an Atlanta area hospital for emergency treatment. The extent of the victim’s injuries has not been provided at this time.

This incident is still under investigation by the LaGrange Police Department Criminal Investigation Section.
