The Troup football team got a chance to get back in the pads and play ball in a scrimmage away to Hebron Christian last Friday. The Tigers came out on top, 28-21. 

Offensive superstar and quarterback Taeo Todd picked up right where he left off last season, rushing for a touchdown in the first half. This comes as no surprise to anybody who watched a Troup game last season as Todd combined for 56 touchdowns in 14 games. 

Ashton Williams also had a rushing touchdown while Trenton Hodo was named offensive player of the game for his two rushing touchdowns in the second half. 

Tyler Leslie was the defensive standout and was named defensive player of the game for the Tigers. 

Troup will start the regular season when it hosts Harris County on Friday.
