Mrs. Reba Ann Carson, 83, of LaGrange, Georgia passed away on Aug. 16, 2023, surrounded by family. 

Mrs. Carson was born on March 30, 1940, to the late George Curtis Longshore Sr. and Minnie Lee Reed Longshore. 

In addition to her parents and two brothers Bobby Curtis Longshore and George Curtis Longshore, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, James Marion Carson. 

She spent her life as a devoted wife and mother to her four children. She was the Secretary at Center Elementary School for many years and a long time member of Harmony Methodist Church. 

Mrs. Carson is survived by her sons Jeff Carson (Candy), Jim Carson (Tommy Meeks), William Carson (Laura); daughter, Susan Carson; grandchildren, Will Carson (Kris), Cord Carson (Molly), Logan Carson (Mallory), Alice Ann Carson (Henry); great grandchildren, Grady Carson and Annie James Carson. 

Mrs. Carson is also survived by her siblings; Ruth Myers (Jim), Nita Adcock (John), Dorothy Herring (Sunny), William Longshore, Howard Longshore (Debbie), Hilton Longshore, and Teddy Longshore (Marsha). 

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Aug. 19, 2023, at 11 A.M. at Harmony Methodist Church with Pastor Anthony Hovey and Pastor Mike Reeves officiating. 

Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends on Saturday at the church beginning at 10 A.M.
