The Troup County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a teenage suspect for allegedly forcibly entering a residence.
Tydarius Brown, 17, is accused of breaking into a home northeast of LaGrange on Wolverine Ct.
On Tuesday morning, Troup County sheriff’s deputies received complaints from the 100 block of Wolverine Ct. about a potential prowler in the area.
While responding to the complaint, deputies were altered to another 911 call from a nearby residence indicating that a male had just forcefully entered a separate residence and fled on foot when the home occupants were alerted to the burglary.
Additional deputies and investigators responded and were able to secure a perimeter around the area and a search was conducted for the suspect.
Brown was later located and identified at approximately 8:15 a.m. by sheriff’s Investigators at his home on Otter Lane.
The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Troup County Jail.
TCSO says their Criminal Investigation Division is still actively investigating multiple entering auto cases that have been reported in the same general area as the break-in since Aug. 11.
