Arrest made after fistfight results in shots being fired

A fistfight led to shots being fired Saturday in the area of Colquitt Street and Dora Street and an arrest for aggravated assault.
According to a LaGrange Police Department press release, officers met with four individuals involved. An investigation determined there was a fistfight between three of the individuals, and Larry Turner Jr. retired a pistol from a nearby residence at the conclusion of the fight. Turner Jr. fired at least one shot, though no one was injured.
The LPD’s Criminal Investigation Section responded and took over the investigation. Turner Jr. was later taken into custody and charged with Aggravated Assault FVA.
