Funeral services for Bobby L. Clark, age 73, of Five Points, will be held on Saturday, Sept. 9, 2023, at 1 P.M. CST at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Tim Tipton, Bro. Cleve Moore, and Bro. Scott Whaley officiating.  

Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 P.M.-8 P.M. CST on Friday, Sept. 8, 2023.

Mr. Clark passed away Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2023, at Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown Medical Center in Columbus, Georgia.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy Clark of Five Points; one daughter, Kimberly Clark Galloway (Mike) of Winter Haven, FL; seven grandchildren, Jordan Galloway, Kalei Galloway, Sidney Galloway, Christian Galloway, Lacey Trawick, Tabitha Clark, and Brittany Rogers; and five great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Hart, Mathew Harlin, Chris Mobley, Christian Galloway, Colt Tipton, and Josh Caldwell. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Joe Fetner, Steve Williams, Wayne Kirby, Randal Harlin, Joe Franklin, David Cummings, Mike Galloway, and Richard Hollins.

A Poplar Bluff, Missouri native, Mr. Clark was born on Nov. 10, 1949, the son of William L. “Curly” and Fern Alberta Hayes Clark.  

He was a member of Maplewood Baptist Church and was a United States Army veteran of the Vietnam conflict.  

Mr. Clark was self-employed as a landlord and did his own upkeep of properties from plumbing to electrical to handywork.  

He was a jack of all trades.  Mr. Clark enjoyed gardening and growing vegetables and he also made custom leather belts.  

He loved Elvis, music, and could play any instrument, and he loved his cats. 

Mr. Clark loved his family, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and never met a stranger. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, William “Danny” Clark; and a sister, Linda Clark.
