Troup alum Kobe Hudson is off to a blazing start to his second season at The University of Central Florida.

The former Tiger had a career day on Saturday against Villanova, catching six passes for 147 yards to help the Knights improve to 3-0 on the season.

The 147 yards on Saturday represent a new career high for Hudson, who set his previous career high was the 134 yards he produced on five catches the week prior against Boise State.

While he is yet to find the end zone this season, Hudson is now up to 325 receiving  yards through three games.

Hudson set career highs in receiving yards (641) and touchdowns (7) last season — his first year with the Knights.

Hudson played in 12 games a season ago, and is already on pace to set a new career high in receiving yards in a season. His current pace would see him set it in week six.

The Knights and Hudson will get a chance to keep up their hot start to the season when they take on Kansas State on the road next Saturday.
