A juvenile was injured after shots were fired in the area of Dixie Street and DeGroat Street on Wednesday night, according to a press release from the LaGrange Police Department.

The LPD received a call at approximately 11:05 p.m. Upon arrival, officers located an occupied residence that had been struck by gunfire. While on scene, Troup E-911 was notified of a juvenile being at Well Star West Georgia Medical Center, suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound, which was sustained in the area of Dixie Street.
