The LaGrange Academy cross country team is rounding into form heading into the home stretch of their season. On Thursday, the Warriors put together one of their most impressive showings of the season at the Oak Mountain Invitational.

Seventh grade star Katie Hill kept up her hot streak on the season, winning her second competition of her young career on Thursday. Molly Edison finished third for the Warriors in the girl’s category.

On the boys side of things, Colson Allen won his first ever cross country race, an achievement that made his coach Ken Klinger quite proud. 

The Warrior boys had another top-5 finisher in Walker Griffith, who finished fourth. 

There were no overall winners at this competition, but if there were, the Warrior girls would have likely come away with first place.
