The LaGrange Academy volleyball team got its first ever playoff victory on Tuesday, beating Monsignor Donovan in three sets — 25-19, 25-10, 25-19. 

It was bittersweet for the Warriors, who then had to turn around and face no. 3 seed Georgia Christian. LaGrange Academy fell in three sets, but will look back with pride on making their first quarterfinals in program history.

The Warriors will have one last showing this season when they take part in the Dig Pink tournament at Troup High on Wednesday. 

LaGrange Academy finished its best season yet with a record of 13-7.
