Ellen is survived by her husband of 56 years, James William (Bill) Davidson, Daughters, Andrea (Duane) Hunter and Alecia Davidson, grandchildren, Lauren (Chase) Rowland and Trey Hunter. Brother and Sister-n-law, John (Ann) Stewart, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many special friends, she loved all of them.

She was the daughter of the late John Wiley and Clara Harmon Stewart. A graduate of LaGrange High School and LaGrange College.

She was a retired teacher (still in touch with many of her former students …she truly cared for them).

She was also preceded in death by her sisters: Patricia Lou Stewart, Caroline Stewart Swett and Clare Stewart Moore.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to your favorite charity. 

Some of Ellen’s favorite were your church, West Georgia Hospice, St. Jude’s, Shriner’s Hospital for Children, Joyce Meyer Ministries or any organizations that help fur babies that she loved so much.

A time of visitation will be held at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Friday, Oct. 13, 2023, from 5 P.M. until 7 P.M. 

A private family interment will be in Shadowlawn Cemetery.
