Ashley Dawn Ingram was born on Jan. 15, 1987, in Lagrange, Georgia.
Ashley passed away peacefully at her home in LaGrange on Saturday, Oct. 14, 2023 surrounded by her devoted family.
Ashley lived to be 36 years old. She was a devoted wife and mother. She adored her husband, Darren Ingram, and her son Avery Scott.
She spent her childhood participating in gymnastics, dance, soccer, volleyball, and softball.
She graduated from Troup County High School in 2005.
Ashley went on to obtain a business degree from West Georgia Technical. She began her professional career working with Wheelabrator LaGrange, State Farm, Durand-Wayland, and later Interface Flooring.
She was the Client Development Executive of Global Accounts Americas for Interface Flooring.
Ashley the consummate overachiever, excelling at everything she touched.
It was her determination and will to achieve that moved her forward in all of her endeavors. She was team-oriented. She loved the people she worked with, calling them family and friends.
Ashley is survived by her husband, John Darren Ingram. Darren was devoted to her and was by her throughout their life together. Her son, Avery Carter Scott, who was her light and joy. Mother, Melody Lett. Father, John Dillingham, and wife Anna. Brother, William Andrew Smith, Adam Scott Dillingham (Savannah Bell); Grandparents, Ronald and Sandra Lett; mother/father-in-law, Dirk and Johnna Ingram; sister-in-law, Katie Cates (Richard); nephew, Layton Cates; Ken Coffman (Lynsey), Jerrica Coffman (Matthew), Kara Winslow (Robby), Meredith Denson (Rickey), Zora Leal (Daniel), and many extended family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Leon and Barbara Dillingham, and her uncle, Matthew Dillingham.
The family will have visitation on Thursday, Oct. 19, 2023, from Noon to 2 P.M. at the Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter Allen Myhand.
The funeral service will begin at 2 P.M. at the funeral home.
