Mrs. Donna Susan Cross Haynes, age 72, of Pine Mountain, passed away on Oct. 19, 2023. 

Mrs. Haynes was born on May 23, 1951, in Phenix City, Alabama to the late Rev. Pitner Roland Cross and Bobbie Sue Snider Cross. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Michael Horne. 

She was the Innkeeper and Owner of the Chipley-Murrey House Bed and Breakfast and a member of the Gray Hill Church of God.

Survivors include her husband, Paul Haynes; children, Carrie Haynes Gilreath (Mike), Christan Nicole Clark (Matthew), Marcus Paul Haynes (Erica) and Matthew Roland Haynes (Jill); brothers, Joel Cross (LaDonna) and Pastor David Cross (Susan); sisters, Martha Fowler (Tony) and Abby Taylor (Barry); grandchildren, Morgan Trejo (Payton Carlisle), Christopher Gilreath, Collin Gilreath, Maddie Gilreath, Kayla Haynes, Brook Haynes, Noah Haynes, Dawson Haynes and Violet Haynes; great-grandchildren, Julian Trejo, Lilah Trejo and Andie Carlisle; nieces, nephews and extended family.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Oct. 22, 2023, at 2 P.M. at the Gray Hill Church of God with Pastor David Cross and Pastor Barry Taylor officiating. 

Interment to follow at Lebanon Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Sunday at the church from Noon to 2 P.M.
