Mrs. Zadie Carter Dixon passed away Monday. She was born Dec. 9, 1960, to the late Joe and Susie Bell Truitt Carter, Sr. in Troup County, Georgia.
She was a member of East Side Baptist Church in LaGrange; and previously employed by Milliken and Company and LaGrange Daily News.
Survivors include her soulmate, Mr. Darnell McCauley; two daughters: Ms. Delia Carter and Mrs. Tiffiny (Lamano) Gilliam; two sons: Mr. Alfred Dixon and Mr. Joseph Dixon, all of LaGrange, Georgia; four grandchildren; one great granddaughter; five sisters: Mrs. Dorothie Rowe, Ms. Ellen Dunlap, and Ms. Geneva Carter, all of Hogansville, Georgia; Mrs. Mary (Charlie) Daniel, Franklin, Georgia; Carolyn Carter (Roosevelt) Hannah, Jr., LaGrange, Georgia; one brother, Mr. Joe (Gloria) Carter, Jr., West Point, Georgia; one aunt, Mrs. Mandy (Riley) Carter, Atlanta, Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
The Service will be Wednesday at Noon at Eastside Baptist Church.
The excellent care of Mrs. Dixon is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
