Multiple Grangers and Tigers make the All-Region 4-4A softball teams

The region 4-4A All-Region teams were chock full of LaGrange Grangers and Troup Tigers. Including the honorable mention list, the Grangers had a whopping 11 players make the teams with the Tigers having six different players.
Both utility slots on the first team were occupied by Grangers — sophomore Shelby Siggers and junior Tatiana Dudley. Junior Tatum Nation made the first team as a catcher while juniors Abby McGill and Carolyne Garcia were named to the infield as a shortstop and first baseman, respectively.
Junior Hudson Wood also made the first team for the Grangers as an outfielder.
On the second team for the Grangers were junior pitcher Zoe Thompson, infielders Kimberly Reynolds and Kinsey Gaddy and outfielder Jasia Swanson.
Gaddy also made the honorable mention list as a pitcher while Harlee Overton was also named to the honorable mention list as an outfielder.
The Tigers had a couple of cases of players making teams in multiple positions. Junior Camdyn Bassett made the first team as an infielder for her play at third base while also making the honorable mention list as a pitcher.
Anna Grace Keller was the other as she made the second team as both a pitcher and an infielder.
Sheniyah Philpot was the only other Tiger to make the first team as the sophomore was rewarded for her play in the outfield this season.
Senior first baseman Madeira Sirmons made the second team along with outfielders Kaitlyn Smalley and fellow senior Haley Kitchens.
