Mark Ayers

1. Give me your last-second pitch on why someone should vote for you.

“I have experience from the last four years and I know the direction we’re trying to move forward in. I have experience being on this cohesive team.”

2. List your top three priorities.

“I want to see the projects that we started through, finish our sidewalks and roads, and lastly develop parks.”

3. Of those priorities, which one can you immediately make a difference in? How and why?

“I would immediately begin on infrastructure so that we don’t have to redo someone else’s work later.”

4. How would you handle a situation where the majority of the council felt differently than you, and you needed to sway their opinion?

“We haven’t come across that hardly at all in the last four years and especially not in the last two years, we tend to always meet and hear each other out.”

5. What’s an interesting fact about you that voters may not know?

“My wife and I are currently building our forever home.”

“I would better the community because that’s what I think needs to be first, you know.”

4. How would you handle a situation where the majority of the council felt differently than you, and you needed to sway their opinion?

“I would present facts on why I believe it should go this way or the other way to let them know my thought process on a certain topic.”

“I am a real people person.”
