All those Callaway, LaGrange and Troup fans waiting to see what the new regions would look like after reclassification got their answer on Thursday.

The GHSA is now only six classifications deep with Callaway in AA and LaGrange and Troup in AAA.

Callaway will play in region 2-2A with Jackson, Morgan County, Pike County, Rutland and Westside Macon.

There will be a ton of traveling for the region as it features teams east of Atlanta, Macon and on the Alabama border.

There will be considerably less travel for LaGrange and Troup in region 2-3A. The two teams will be joined from their current region by Fayette County, Trinity Christian and Whitewater as well as newcomers Mary Persons, Sandy Creek, Spalding and Upson-Lee.

This new regions will go into effect starting in 2024 and will continue through the 2025 season.
