Mr. Herbert Leon Bruce, age 87, of LaGrange, passed away on Nov. 8, 2023.  

Mr. Bruce was born on Aug. 4, 1936, in Millerville, Alabama to the late William Talmadge Bruce and Alma Christine Holley Bruce.  

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Hulon Bruce.  

He proudly served his country in the United States Army followed by many years as an Electrician for Alabama Power. 

 Survivors include his wife, Mary Nanelle Hall Bruce; sons and their wives, Jeff and Cindy Bruce and Jerry and Teresa Bruce; grandchildren, Taylor and Lauren Bruce, Ryan and Sarah Bruce, Kyle and Savannah Bruce and Brent and Kelsey Bruce; great-grandchildren, Tyra-Lee, Noah, Maggie, Raylan, Alden, Hailey, Kylee, Jason, Heidi Kate, Kynley and Alayna; sister-in-law, Margene Bruce; nephew, Mike and Renee Bruce; niece, Kay and Ronald Robertson; canine companion, Patches.  

Services for Mr. Bruce will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2023, at Noon at the Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter Allen Myhand Chapel with Minister John Brogden officiating. 

 Family will receive friends on Wednesday at the funeral home beginning at 11 A.M.
