Reverend George A. Stroizer passed away Tuesday.
He was born March 14, 1952, to the late Tommie Lou (James) Strozier and Sammie Lewis Harris in Meriwether County, Georgia.
He united with Branch Hebron Baptist Church at an early age.
George graduated from Greenville High School, and was employed by Greenville Police Department for several years, Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home, Troup County Transportation, Wal-Mart and of course, he was a jack of all trades.
He was an Entrepreneur specializing in Carpentry, electrical, plumbing, mechanics and so much more.
Rev. G. A Strozier Pastored at New Hope for two and a half years, Evening Star for two and a half years, and Threat Grove Baptist Church for twenty-two years.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Sandra Smith Strozier; his children: Anrique Williams, Ykesia Strozier, Orlando (Sherika) Strozier, and Latrisca Strozier (Jaryll) Sellars; fifteen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; his sisters: Grace (Walter) Tiggs, Sylvia (Tommy) Towns, Barbara (David) Hutchins, Angela (Calvin) Parks, Reajoyce Fuller, Deloris McGee, and Linda McGee; sisters-in-law: Robin Strozier, Cheryl Strozier, Mary Smith, Mary Ogletree, Vanessa (Michael) Dunson, Paulett (James) Garrett; brothers-in-law: Gene (Virginia) Smith and Sam Poythress; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The service will be Tuesday at 2 P.M. at Branch Hebron Baptist Church.
