Third person arrested on murder charges for Daniel Street shooting

A third person has been arrested on murder charges related to an incident that took place on Daniel Street on Nov. 4.
Jaylin Gates, 17, of Hogansville, was arrested Thursday and charged with felony murder. The LaGrange Police Department said in a press release that Gates was arrested after further investigation determined that Gates was directly involved in the shooting that led to the death of Tabious Frazier.
Frazier, 33, was shot at 412 Daniel Street. According to the original press release, he’d been shot at least one time in the left shoulder. Officers rendered aid until emergency medical personnel arrived on scene and transported Frazier to Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center where he was later pronounced deceased.
Two others were also struck by gunfire but did not require medical treatment, according to the press release.
Tiara Smoker, 35, and Jacorious Jamar Thomas, 32, of Pine Mountain, have also been arrested and charged with felony murder.
