Suzanne C. McGuigan, 80, of Charleston, S.C. passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2023, at the home of her sister, Sandra Mann in LaGrange, Georgia.

Suzanne was born in New York City on Feb. 2, 1943, daughter of the late Stuart T. Edgerton Jr. and Ruth L. Edgerton.  

She was raised in Bermuda and emigrated to the United States in 1958. She Lived in Charleston, S.C., Miami, FL. and LaGrange, Georgia. She was a Registered Nurse and worked at Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, Trident County Hospital in South Carolina and in Miami, FL. 

She retired from G.E. where she traveled the country and overseas training hospital staff on G.E.’s medical equipment.

She is survived by her three sons, Josiah Mazzell Jr. (Peggy), Jonathan Blane Mazzell and Patrick McGuigan (Maggie); five Grandchildren, Josiah Mazzell III, Nathaniel Mazzell (Jennifer), Tiffany Whitehouse (Michael), Mariah Jones (Avery) and Augie MCGuigan; and six great-grandchildren, Chelsea Mazzell, David and Caleb Whitehouse, Kaylee Templeton-Jones, Ethan Templeton-Jones, and Connor Jones.
