Troup alum Jamari Thrash transferred from Georgia State to Louisville in the offseason, and despite a couple of nagging injuries, picked up right where he left off with the Panthers. The current Cardinal was named to the All-ACC second team a year after being named to the first team All-Sun Belt first team.
In his debut season with the Cardinals, Thrash caught 63 passes for 858 yards and had seven total touchdowns. He had his best game of the season with four receptions for 159 yards and a touchdown in the 21-14 win over Indiana. His 85-yard catch in the game was the second-longest pass play in the ACC this season, one yard behind the league leader.
Thrash finished fourth in the ACC in receptions and third in receiving yards while finishing top 50 in the country in both categories.
