The LaGrange girls basketball team could find no rhythm on either end of the court on Friday as they fell 68-19 to Harris County on the road.

The Grangers were able to keep the game relatively close in the first half before their offense cratered in the final two quarters. LaGrange trailed 16-7 after one and 31-17 heading into the break. The Granger offense was picked apart by the Tiger defense in the second half as the team could muster just two points total in the second half on a made basket from Madisyn Booker in the third quarter. Booker was the only bright spot on the night for LaGrange as she finished with a team-high 12 points.

Ashley Brooks finished with three points while Ta’Niya Taylor and Teyana Payne finished with two points apiece to round out the scoring for LaGrange.

LaGrange (1-4) will be right back at it on Saturday when the team travels to take on Lamar County.
