Robert D. “Bob” Wolfe, 79, of LaGrange, Georgia passed away Sunday, Dec. 10, 2023, at his residence surrounded by his family.

Mr. Wolfe was born July 24, 1944, in Birmingham, AL, son of the late Emuel Douglas Wolfe and Mary Helen Wolfe.

  He was a former member of Western Heights Baptist Church where he served as a deacon, the young adult Sunday School teacher, and sang in the choir. 

Mr. Wolfe was the former owner of Bob Wolfe Landscaping and Maintenance.  

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Bradley “Brad” Robert Wolfe and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Addie Roberson.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy R. Wolfe; son, Matthew Wolfe; daughter, Laurie Marie Wolfe Webb; grandchildren, Emma Wolfe, Thomas Mason Wolfe, Lily Webb, Alyssa Silva, Braden Webb, and Josh Webb; special nephew, Mark Kinard (Christy); and sister, Elaine Thompson; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

The gathering of family and friends will be on Thursday, Dec. 14, 2023, from 1 P.M. to 2 P.M. at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, LaGrange, Georgia.  

The Celebration of Life service will be at 2 P.M. in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, LaGrange, Georgia with Rev. Mike Hornsby officiating. 

Burial will follow in Meadoway Gardens.
