Hilda Maddox Coble, age 81, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, died Friday, Dec. 15, 2023, at NHC Oakwood.

She was born Jan. 29, 1942, in LaGrange, Georgia, to the late Hudson Maddox and Juanita Clements Maddox. 

She was a homemaker and a member of the Lewisburg First Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Cristy Coble Stallworth and a brother, Alex Maddox.

She is survived by three sons, William H. “Chip” (Amy) Coble III, of Freeport, FL, Cameron Jay (LeeAnne) Coble of Lewisburg, and Charles A. “Chuck” (Becky) Coble of Lewisburg; one brother, John Maddox of Peachtree City, Georgia; eleven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and two on the way.

Visitation with the family will be held at the Chapel of London Funeral Home, 324 West Church Street, Lewisburg, Tennessee, on Friday, Dec. 22, 2023, from 3 P.M. until 6 P.M. with cremation to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hopetown, 402 North 2nd Avenue, Lewisburg, TN 37091.
