Mrs. Brenda Catherine Arnold Bagley, age 72, of LaGrange, passed away on Dec. 15, 2023.  

Brenda was born on Sept. 10, 1951. Her parents were William David Arnold, Sr., and Mary Worthy Arnold.  

Her father preceded her in death as well as her husband, Louis Bagley. 

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her children, Lisa Lindsey (Matt), Elizabeth Wegienka (Kerry), Mary McDowell (Candy) and Chris Bagley (Katie); brothers, David Arnold (Lisa) and Mickey Lynn (Donna); fourteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and extended family.

Brenda aka: mawmaw / grams adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She could be found in the kitchen making her famous peanut butter candy for them.

Brenda was an active member at her church, Ayers United Memorial Church.

She was a member of the Easter Star Miriam Chapter #32.

Brenda was a PTO member At Whitesville Road Elementary School and also volunteered with Girl Scouts & Boy Scouts and Callaway High School Band.

She also could be found helping with many other clubs, organizations, and campaigns.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Dec. 22, 2023, at 2 P.M. at the Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter Allen Myhand Chapel with Pastor Wayne Hester officiating. Interment will follow at Shadowlawn Cemetery.  Family will receive friends on Friday at the funeral home beginning at Noon.   Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter Allen Myhand, 706-884-5626.
