The LaGrange Police Department is investigating an early morning incident where gunshots were fired into a home on Christmas Eve.

On Dec. 24, LPD responded to a residence on Vince Sutton Blvd in reference to reports of gunshots fired into the location.

Officers met with the female victim and confirmed that several bullets had been fired through a window in the residence. No injuries were reported as a result of the shooting.

Police say the preliminary investigation indicates that multiple persons were shooting in the roadway and some of the projectiles went through the victim’s window.

This incident is still under active investigation by the LaGrange Police Criminal Investigations Section.
