Ms. Ethel Rose Brown Holmes passed away Sunday.

She was born July 2, 1944, to the late Charlie and Eunice Brown in LaGrange, Georgia.

She graduated from East Depot High School, Class of 1963, united with Providence Missionary Baptist Church in Rockford, Illinois; and was previously employed by  LaGrange Chamber of Commerce, and Maidee Smith Childcare.

Survivors include her siblings:  Donald (Betty) Brown, Milwaukee, WI; Melvin (Martha), LaGrange, Georgia; Lillian Walker, Hunterville, NC; Hewlett (Edna) Brown; Annette (Ricky) Freeman; Jimmy Moreland, all of LaGrange, Georgia; sister-in-law, Jeannie Moton, LaGrange, Georgia; and an array of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

The Service will be Saturday at 1 P.M. at Valley Grove Baptist Church.

The excellent care of Ms. Holmes is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
