Troup County residents will want to have a way to get weather information overnight as a storm system moves through the area Monday evening.

The system will bring the chance for tornadoes, wind and hail, according to the National Weather Service in Peachtree City.

Troup County is under a marginal risk for several weather, which is a one out of five on the severe weather scale. Parts of the state further south are under a two out of five, or slight risk.

The very southern part of the state, such as Americus, Abbeville and areas east are under a three out of five risk, or enhanced, risk for severe weather.

However, all parts of the state have a chance for severe storms overnight.

LaGrange is expected to receive approximately 3-4 inches of rain.
