Police are investigating an incident where a man was allegedly shot on S. Lee Street in LaGrange, according to a press release from the LaGrange Police Department. 

LaGrange police began investigating the incident on the night of Tuesday, Jan. 9, around 7:30 p.m. Officers responded to WellStar West Georgia Medical Center in reference to reports of a male subject arriving at the location suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. 

The victim told police that unknown subjects had fired at him while he was in his vehicle on S. Lee Street. 

This incident is still under active investigation by the LaGrange Police Department Criminal Investigations Section
