Mrs. Gayla Jean Ferguson Ritchie, age 64, of Pine Mountain, passed away on Jan. 31, 2024.  

Mrs. Ritchie was born on June 16, 1959, in LaGrange to the late Alton Ferguson and Shelby Jean Kelley Ferguson.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Kelli Carmona. 

Survivors include her husband, Rodney Clarence “Rod” Ritchie; daughter, Lori Jean Ritchie-Manley (Kevin); brothers, Ronnie Ferguson and Tim Ferguson; extended family and friends.

Gayla worked at United Way for many years and was very passionate about helping the people of her community in whatever way she could. 

She enjoyed spending time with her family. 

She was dearly loved and will be very deeply missed.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, Feb. 5, 2024, at 2 P.M.at the Shadowlawn Cemetery.  

Family will have a time of visitation at the funeral home beginning at 1 P.M.
