Tuesday did not go LaGrange’s way as the Grangers fell 7-1 to St. Anne-Pacelli at Callaway Stadium.

It was a big comedown from the Grangers’ opener last week that saw them win 5-1.

Tuesday’s game was a tight affair early as Sam Cottle scored the Grangers’ lone goal to keep it 2-1 for much of the game. Unfortunately, the floodgates opened late and the final score did not flatter the home team.

LaGrange is now 1-1 on the season. The Grangers will participate in the Lakeshore Shootout in Birmingham on Friday and Saturday. The team will play Hewitt-Tussville on Friday before taking on Chelsea High School on Saturday.
