Sweetland announces 2024 summer concert series

Sweetland Amphitheatre has announced the performers for its 2024 concert series. The lineup includes country music legends, blues and hip hop stars as well as a slate of popular rock bands and singers.

The season will kick off on Friday, May 3 with a performance by Sawyer Brown with the Frontmen of Country followed by country music superstar Trace Adkins the next week on Friday, May 10.

Staying in country mode, Roots and Boots – Sammy Kershaw, Aaron Tippin and Collin Raye will headline Sweetland on Saturday, June 1.

Switching gears, Tucka James with Pokey Bear and Westlove will bring blues and southern soul to Sweetland on Saturday, June 15.

A performance by Flo Rida will close out the month of June with a concert on Saturday, June 28.

Georgia singer, songwriter and rapper Colt Ford will perform on Saturday, Aug. 3 with Kidd G.

A pair of alternative rock bands, Everclear and Sister Hazel, will perform on Friday, Aug. 23.

Three world-famous singers will highlight September with a performance by Sara Evans on Friday, Sept. 13, and a dual performance by Melissa Etheridge and Jewel on Thursday, Sept. 19.

Country music legend Lyle Lovett will close out the season on Friday, Sept. 27.

Additional shows include an unannounced performance on Saturday, Aug. 10, along with a performance by Calvin Richardson on Saturday, May 18 presented by Troup-Coweta Delta Sigma Theta.
