At least two people suffered serious injuries during an auto accident on I-85 South Friday morning.

Two occupants were ejected from vehicles as a result of the collision between a tractor-trailer and another vehicle that was pulling a work van.

The southbound side of the interstate was closed for about a half hour as two victims were airlifted from the scene.

According to Coroner Erin Hackley, there were no immediate fatalities.
