Mrs. Willa Dean Thomason Floyd, age 93, of Pine Mountain, passed away on May 6, 2024.  Mrs. Floyd (known as Grana Dean) was born on November 24, 1930 in LaGrange to the late Frank H. Thomason and Eva Potts Thomason.  She worked for over 38 years in the Cafeteria of Mountville Elementary School.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Louis Floyd; son, Randy M. Floyd; brother, Frank Burson Thomason; sister, Audrey T. Duke.

Survivors include her daughter, LouAnn Floyd; nieces, Susan Davis (Ira) and Carlene Blankle; extended family.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 2:00 pm at the Oak Grove Congregation Christian Church.  Interment will follow at the Salem Methodist Church Cemetery.  Family will receive friends on Saturday at the Oak Grove Congregational Christian Church beginning at 1:00 pm.
