Deacon Amos Harris passed away Tuesday.

He was born March 31, 1940, in LaGrange, Georgia to the late Amos Harris, Sr. and Willie D. Harris.

He received his education in the Troup County School System, retired from Millike and Company, and was a faithful member of Sardis Baptist Church.

Survivors include five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; three sisters:  Eva Jean Hall, Virginia Glen, and Angela Askew; and a host of relatives.

The Service will be Saturday at 3 P.M. at New Macedonia Baptist Church.

The excellent care of Deacon Harris is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
