Mrs. Elizabeth Dukes Bishop, age 72, passed away on May 8, 2024. 

She was born on July 27, 1951, in LaGrange to the late Edward Charles Dukes and Mamie Ruth Owen Dukes. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a special nephew, Chad Henry.

Survivors include her husband, Landis Bishop; sons, Roger Ellington, Jr. (Vicky), Jeffrey Ellington, Justin Dukes (Kendall), Chad Bishop (Daphne), Kevin Bishop (Tayme), Christopher Bishop (Kara) and Alex Bishop (Brooke); daughters, Kelley Miller (Billy), Brandie Newsome (Jason) and Kacie Cadenhead (Phillip); sister, Judy Laney; 35 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held on May 18, 2024 at Noon at the Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter Allen Myhand Chapel. 

Family will receive friends on May 18th from 11 A.M.-Noon at the funeral home.
