George Buren Lassetter, age 80, a pillar of the Newnan community, known for his work ethic, generosity, and captivating stories, passed away peacefully at his home on May 16, 2024 surrounded by loved ones.

The family will have visitation on Sunday, May 19, 2024 at the Unity Baptist Church in Newnan, Georgia from 5 P.M. – 8 P.M.

The funeral service will be held at the church on Monday, May 20, 2024 beginning at 11 A.M. with Dr. Doug McCart officiating.

Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Newnan.

A Lassetter Family Reunion will be held at the family home on Highway 16 following the interment.

All family members are asked to attend.
