Mrs. Mildred Ballard, 96 of LaGrange, GA passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at her residence in LaGrange, GA.

Mildred was born November 13, 1927 in Thomaston, GA to the late Walter Whellis Crisler and Eula Mae Slate Crisler.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 77 years, Thomas Edward Ballard.

Survivors include her daughters, Sandra Keeble of Sandy Springs, GA and Debra Dokken of LaGrange, GA; granddaughter, Morgan Keeble of Sandy Springs Ga; nephews, Jerome (Kathy) McClendon and great niece Shannon McClendon; Rob (Kay) Crisler; nieces, Kim (David) Riley, Mandy (Jody), Seckinger, Jennifer Latrell, Laura Harris and Gwen (Matt) Reed along with many other extended family and friends.

Mrs. Ballard was a faithful member of Dunson Methodist Church in LaGrange and a long time employee or Platex Company. She loved cooking, shopping, church and spending time with her family. She will be remembered for her fun spirit and zest for life.

The Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 2:30 P.M. to 4:00 P.M Friday, June 7, 2024 in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary in LaGrange, GA. The Celebration of Life Service will begin at 4:00 P.M. after the gathering. The internment will be at Shadowlawn Cemetery in LaGrange, GA after the service.
