On a frigid night at Callaway Stadium, the Callaway High soccer teams had their hands full with Central-Carroll.

In the girls’ game, Central-Carroll had a 2-0 lead at the half, and it tacked on four more goals in the second half to win 6-0.

The story was much the same in the boys’ game.

Central-Carroll built a 5-0 halftime lead on the way to a 7-0 victory.

It was the continuation of a challenging non-region schedule for Callaway’s teams, who are preparing for the upcoming Region 5-AA schedule.

Callaway’s teams have games remaining against Central-Phenix City, Mount Zion and Eagle’s Landing before the start of region play on March 2 against Bremen.
