LATEST NUMBERS: Tracking COVID-19 cases in Troup County and Georgia
The LaGrange Daily News has spent the last few weeks reporting the latest information on COVID-19, including confirmed cases, cases in nearby counties and statewide information.
This page will provide those updates in an easier format, giving our latest maps and statistics all on one page. Last updated: April 11 at 9:30 a.m.
SURROUNDING COUNTIES: The map below shows the number of confirmed cases in counties within an approximate hour drive of LaGrange, including Alabama counties. The Alabama Department of Public Health appears to be updating its numbers by the hour, while the Georgia Department of Public Health updates its figures at noon and 7 p.m.
NEARBY COUNTY DEATHS: This is a look at deaths in surrounding counties due to COVID-19. This is using “reported” deaths from the Alabama Department of Public Health and confirmed deaths from the Georgia Department of Public Health.
CASE COUNT: This is a chart that shows the number of cases and deaths by day in Georgia. It also shows the same information for Troup County.
