Mrs. Jean Grant, 80, of LaGrange, GA passed away Thursday, July 30, 2015 at Hospice LaGrange.

Mrs. Grant was born October 8,1934 in Mt. Zion, Carroll Co., GA, daughter of the late George L. Caldwell and Willie Lou Muse Caldwell. She was a member of Dunson Methodist Church and was the former owner and operator of Kut n’ Kurl Beauty Salon.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Grant; 10 siblings; and a great granddaughter, Libby Grace Zackoski.

Survivors include her son, Larry (Regina) Grant of Newnan; granddaughters, Danielle Grant of Newnan and Denise Grant (Jeremy) Zackoski of Covington; sister, Rudene Tatum of Union City; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

The Gathering of Family and Friends will be Sunday, August 2, 2015 from 1:00pm until 2:00 pm at the funeral home. A Graveside Service will follow at 2:30 pm in Shadowlawn Cemetery with Reverend Clay Synder officiating.

Flowers will be accepted or the family requests donations be made to Julia A. Porter Methodist Church, 3 Cotton Ave, Porterdale, Ga 30014.
